Advantage is a single software stream that can be deployed via three methods; Hosted, On-Premise, and UCaaS. Each method has its own unique topology and varying degree of advantages for the client. Each deployment method consists of elements concerning the critical nature of your business, business continuity requirements, ongoing customer support and budget.

Delivered from our VMware enabled Data Center located in Ashburn, Virginia, Advantage offers the flexibility to be deployed – your way, Hosted, Premise Based or Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) with the ability to change deployment type as our client’s needs change. Advantage leverages our strategic partner Mitel Technologies’ virtual single software stream architecture and delivers it via a Dedicated Internet Access and/or Private Line / MPLS transport.

On-Premise
Many companies have moved to virtualization in their data centers, be it either hosted or on-premise to take advantage of the cost reduction in hardware, software, power consumption and IT staff. With the advancement of real-time voice integrating into a VMWare virtualized environment, Advantage can now be deployed as an instance on a virtual server using VMWare vSphere 5. As a result, clients can now host their own virtual system maintaining administration and management. Carrier facilities transporting Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) trunks will be terminated at the client’s data center via Internet Access or Private Line facilities depending on the call quality they request. Client’s can choose to maintain the system themselves or elect TCI”s Gold Plus or Platinum service plan depending on coverage options desired.

Hosted
Advantage Hosted is ideal for businesses that want to reduce their technology footprint of a traditional PBX, eliminate hardware maitenance costs, stay ahead of technology advances and reduce the overall cost of their telecom budget. Hosted in our Data Center located in Asburn, Va., Advantage Hosted is an Internet based service reducing the cost of carrier bandwidh that delivers Unified Communications, Mobility and Web/Video Collaboration services. With Avantage Hosted it’s never been easier to get up and running quickly. Simply plug your VOIP phones into your network and start making calls. It’s that simple. For those that need assistance, our trained and certified technicians will come to your location and assist you in the installation of the system. Administer the system through a simple and intuitive web portal you can quickly create new ring groups, move extensions, edit users and much more. When you need help, simply call our support team and we’ll answer any questions or solve any problems related to your Advantage Hosted phone service quickly, friendly and with no additional expense.

Hybrid
If a dedicated server is required to run a high speed database application, that hardware can be integrated into a private cloud, in effect, hybridizing the solution between virtual servers and dedicated servers. This can’t be achieved in a public cloud.

Hybrid cloud unified communications integrates cloud-based UC functionality with an on-premise device that supports advanced telephony capabilities primarily found in on-premise solutions. The multifunctional device, sometimes referred to as a service point, sits on premise and is a plug and play device similar to a set-top box. It is used to manage SIP devices such as desktop IP phones as well as distribute functionality.

With a hybrid UC deployment, tight integration is created between the hosted platform that services the branch offices and the on-premises UC platform. This allows for standard call plans, interoffice extension dialing, and ideally, a system-wide administrative and management platform. A true hybrid platform would allow administrators to deploy on-premises equipment only where needed or as requirements demand, while universally managing users on a common platform.
